Lake Havasu City is the largest city in in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. Mohave County is the fifth largest county in the nation. Mohave County is located in the Northwest corner of Arizona bordered by Lake Mead and a major part of the Grand Canyon on north, and the Colorado River on the west.

The London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona is the second most visited tourist attraction in Arizona, behind only the Grand Canyon. It crosses a 930 foot long man-made canal that leads from Lake Havasu (on the Colorado River) to Thompson Bay.

It was bought for US $2.5 million from the City of London when the bridge was replaced in 1968. The bridge was disassembled, and the marked stones were shipped to Lake Havasu City and reassembled for another US $7 million. It opened in October 1971.

Lake Havasu Lighthouses - Lake Havasu is home to more lighthouses than any other city in America. These 1/3 scale replicas are actual functioning navigational aids, built to the specifications of famous East and West Coast lighthouses. More than 15 currently dot the shores of the lake, with several others planned.

Havasu 95 Speedway - Havasu 95 Speedway is an ASA sanctioned paved oval that runs stock car races in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Classes ran include late models, modifieds, trucks, street stocks, legends, bandoleros, and factory stocks.

Havasu 95 Speedway is located at SARA Park off of Arizona State Highway 95 in the southern part of Lake Havasu City. The race track is approximately 4/10ths of a mile west of Highway 95 on SARA Parkway behind the baseball and softball fields.

Hiking - There are hiking trails for all levels from a lsisurely stroll to something more challenging in SARA Park where you will see slot canyons and towering cliffs. The London Bridge area is an easy stroll.

Whatever you have - 4WD, dirt bike, sand rail, ATV or UTV, they all equal fun when your on the trails. Explore at your own pace. The best time for offroading is fall through spring.

Shopping - Whatever your need, whatever you want, Lake Havasu City has it all. The Island Mall has lots of tourist shopping as does the London Bridge Shops. The Main Street District is small town American at its finest with unique boutique shops and restaurants. The Shops at Lake Havasu is an outdoor mall at the north edge of the city featuring national retailers, movie theater, and speciality shops.
