The London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona is the second most visited tourist attraction in Arizona, behind only the Grand Canyon. It crosses a 930 foot long man-made canal that leads from Lake Havasu (on the Colorado River) to Thompson Bay.
It was bought for US $2.5 million from the City of London when the bridge was replaced in 1968. The bridge was disassembled, and the marked stones were shipped to Lake Havasu City and reassembled for another US $7 million. It opened in October 1971. |

Havasu 95 Speedway - Havasu 95 Speedway is an ASA sanctioned paved oval that runs stock car races in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Classes ran include late models, modifieds, trucks, street stocks, legends, bandoleros, and factory stocks.
Havasu 95 Speedway is located at SARA Park off of Arizona State Highway 95 in the southern part of Lake Havasu City. The race track is approximately 4/10ths of a mile west of Highway 95 on SARA Parkway behind the baseball and softball fields. |
